I only watched it once a few years ago so I don’t remember all the details, but I’m super over male directors inserting super misogynistic stories, themes, or characters into films and then claiming it’s meant to be a “critique” without actually dissecting those aspects, and when I watched that it ticked a lot of those boxes for me. I do love Jake in general though.
