My dad is planning on taking a road trip to bring me fresh eggs this week and I never would have expected that to be SUCH an exciting event but here we are. It’s going to be a very shady deal where I leave a bag with desserts and my Friends box set on the porch and later find it replaced with eggs and sausage and the DVDs I loaned him months ago.

 

Wish I could go back 5 seconds and remove this information from my memory.

I wish, he could so become a chicken guy. He gets them from someone at his church who always gives dozens and dozens, so almost every time I see him he has a bunch for me. We both had the simultaneous thought this morning that since he loves to drive around and feels stir crazy, he could help us out and give himself something to do at the same time. It will be hard to not see him but it does help me feel a bit more connected.

Lol, I wasn’t judging! I’m also very much not that way. There have always been people over the years that want to go over the top for him which is much nicer than the busybody types or other difficult members. I also know that a lot of people who have chickens are constantly desperate to get rid of them because they lay so many, so for her it may be that taking them there is the easiest option, lol. We used to have a friend who was the same way and we didn’t buy eggs for the whole time we lived near her.

bruh chickens are so easy. cheap af to feed and they eat almost anything so you can throw out food or leftovers that are going bad and not waste it. building or buying a coop and putting it in would p much be the extent of the work initially

 

My gf has chickens and I love those girls. Their eggs are hella tasty.
