Yeah I mean it’s happened a handful of times off the top of my head and it never goes well so I don’t bother anymore. Like I’ve tried to say that certain jokes or ideas are harmful in general even if the specific person in question doesn’t deserve to be treated well, but then I just get yelled at for hours so I give up. There’s certainly a huge amount of aggressive toxic male energy in that thread that comes up regularly but gets excused because of who is saying it. There’s a certain line of joke that bothers me every single time an example gets posted but I just never have the energy to ask it to stop.
