Update! A woman came by and picked it up. Luckily I guess the app had a picture of where it was delivered so she could figure out where we were even if we had no identifying information. Usually when I’ve gotten someone’s order I just have to keep it because there’s no way to find each other.

see i'm even too lazy right now to write up my own post about how much i do love this thread but lack the energy to post in here

 

I've made a pretty concerted effort not to post in here as much as I used to and instead spend my time in other threads and tbh it's been pretty great. I still have lots of love for this thread but there was a time when life kinda revolved around it in a way and I'm pretty well past all that now. we've done some legendary shit and we'll do more and I'll forever be grateful to all of you for that. and I still really enjoy posting in here but everything in moderation...

i spend like 80% of my time in this thread, and the other 20% are split between the NBA thread, supporter thread, and random album threads. I try to stay out of the entertainment forum entirely.

Yeah it's an exhausting site and I feel like if I wasn't spending 8hrs a day at a computer for work anyway where I could bullshit on here I'd prob stop

Had an interesting conversation with our head IT person today, basically he's going to start teaching me more of what he does which is what i've been wanting since I started at my position/what I was kind of told would happen from the beginning but it never happened. We've basically ignored each other the last 3 and a half years and maybe said like 10 words to each other over that time and i'm pretty sure he hates me so i'm not sure what's changed, it's going to be pretty weird lol

 

I think I'm getting better at just rolling my eyes at things and not jumping into every stupid argument that I could be jumping into

 

this is such an important skill to have if you are to attempt to navigate this website
