Finally got the courage to get my old guitars that were involved in my apartment fire two years ago out of storage. I think it was like a mix of being afraid of a lot of that mental trauma being brought back up and also just being like "what do I do with this crap now?" when it didn't work. But I brought them home and plugged them and they all work... and none of them look bad... so now I'm like "what do I do with all these guitars?" since I bought replacements in the meantime...

First world problem, I know. But mostly just wanted to tell people that I actually feel pretty good and like I overcame something by doing that..

One of them was an american strat that honestly just looks "road worn" now. It sounded perfect.

I was already a lifetime Ampeg customer after I literally dumped GALLONS of water of out my 6x10 after it had sat in there for almost a week and somehow sounds perfect still. Now I'm definitely a Fender lifer, even though I was already pretty much there anyway
