No hounds besides Beagles. We looked really hard too, one rescue approved us and then we filled out application and they never got back to us. Plenty of them in Virginia. We have a yard that’s pretty decent for a hound so we looked specifically for one

 

what do you have against beagles

 

They’re very nice dogs but can be a handful. Supposedly they are the second least likely to be adopted number one being pit bulls. Gracie was listed on PetFinder as a Labrador mix lol never would have gotten into them if not for that

My mom thinks they are a little annoying/bark too much. I don’t really know but you know obviously they’re sweet dogs my aunt and uncle have had exclusively beagles usually two at a time for 30 years

I love hounds in general but beagles are not my favorite. I love a big floppy eared jowly hound.

Also I haven’t made bread in my dutch oven yet but I have found a few recipes that call for it and those are high on my list to try. Maybe the next loaf I make will be with that method.
