ordered all the shit I'll need to properly bake bread like a bougie fuck. excited to start trying it out when stuff arrives. the tools arrive quick while the yeast and extra bread flour will take a few extra days.

 

God I fucking love bread

 

the main piece i got was a dutch oven so the bread crust will be all fancy and artisanal looking lol. my sister and mother bake so i just bought what they suggested.

do you use it to bake bread in? I honestly didnt know that was a thing until I cracked open the bread baking book i got Friday night and saw it mentioned a lot haha.

 

I haven’t yet but I’ve been wanting to! I have like a 1/4 lb of yeast I ordered on amazon and need to use so maybe you can share your expertise after!

I use it a lot to make soups, tomato sauce, roasts and stews...it’s really good for stuff that requires you to sauté stuff on the stovetop and then move to the oven too.

 

Yeah, definitely. I'll mostly be passing on whatever advice my mother and sister provided that worked for me haha. Gonna start off with sourdough, which should be interesting.

Nice. I hope to use it for more than bread eventually, but for now that will be its main purpose haha.
