Whatever works for you but I like the aspect of going to a comic store, taking care of them (bagging and boarding) and collecting in general in addition to just reading the books themselves. You can get into it as much or as little as you want, idk your area but they’re a pretty cool place nowadays in my experience

I usually end up buying comics when they're bound into a trade paperback instead of individual issues, mostly just due to the cost. I do have some, a few i bought simply because an artist was selling signed copies. I did like going to the comic book store when i lived in AZ, but admittedly haven't visited any since I moved, but a quick scan shows me there are a bunch out in the city near me.
