I'm doing the best I can on one leg. Mr. Winkles said he's going to have me in tip-top shape in no time. He said it was an accident and I believe him. I just wish he didn't tie me to the bed or else this whole silly situation might have been avoided. That's what we call it, our "silly situation" but silly situations are bound to be expected with my pal, Mr. Winkles. He's been giving me this potion he makes that he says will make me big and strong but every time I drink it, I just feel sick and feeble. But alas, I had better go, for I have grown weary and I think Mr. Winkles has come back from town. Until tomorrow, my love.
