The Leftovers was good, but I didn’t like it as much as most people here and the plot would certainly be pretty stressful right now. yeah I’m not really worried about content, aside from the fact that my wife hates westerns so we can’t watch Deadwood which is kind of what I really want to watch lol

 

My Dark rewatch is going well but I know I’ll get to certain episodes and have a lot of anxiety. Anything dealing with an apocalypse in June 2020 is just so close to home right now.....

 

I’m reeeeeaaaaaallllly not a western fan and I love Deadwood so much. It’s sort of a cliche to say “the genre isn’t important, it’s a personal drama about the characters”, but in the case of that it’s definitely true. The setting is part of the show but it’s very different than what you usually get in westerns.
