I know it was an accident but that’s wankery and I’d find a way to pay for an exact replacement even if it meant selling helicopter dick vids on Reddit. Couldn’t deal with the guilt. I almost bought my friend’s parents a new fucking sofa when I dropped pizza on it...but thankfully the cushions washed easily and they absolutely refused payment of any sort.

 

Yeah I mean it does definitely suck but I really really didn’t know how to act in that situation. I didn’t feel like getting angry or being like uhh yeah actually you need to buy me a new one would have fixed anything
I like didnt want to show how upset I was but I am upset. It sucks.

 

Also I went like so above and beyond to try and make my ex’s birthday special a few months ago and put so much time and effort and money into it and he didn’t even wish me a happy birthday lmfao

I think it’s warranted to show you’re upset but I’m a hypocrite and I know in the same situation, whilst I’d HOPE the perp would offer to get a new one, I’d maybe downplay it.

I was trying not to downplay it but also not make it worse and it was a hard line to walk lol

and yeah like I feel like her offering to replace it with one she had was the closest it was gonna get. But also sucks cause at the same time I feel like if she has just told her parents what had happened they would have just paid for it because they have money.

My mom offered to bring one from her house (from what was formerly my room) but I know that ones smaller too so it just really sucks and I’m so pouty about it lmao

thank you lmao. Not loaded but just know that they could replace it. I’m not even picky like damn get it from the pawn shop idc. It wasn’t a nice tv per se and wasn’t brand new when I got it from my mom. And It also wasn’t even that big, 45 or 50 inches max. Her own tv in her living room is like double the size lmao

But yeah I was I think mostly just in shock and pushed down my reaction so I wouldn’t cry lol. Also it falling over spilled her huge water and I was super concerned about getting the ps4 out of the water. Thank god the PS4 survived lol

So “fun” story of my day. I’ve been following updates on my Facebook lately from the problematic school I went to for kindergarten and first grade because a bunch of alumni are taking action about the systemic racism in place there, and today I decided to look at one of my old yearbooks just to jog some memories. There’s an entire page devoted to remembering funny things from the year (or past years, it’s hard to tell) and in addition to a super fun happy story of a teacher punishing a student by making him sit in a trash can for an entire period (??), there’s also the heartwarming tale of a class adopting a centipede and naming it after a white supremacist, then giving it a full funeral and mourning when it died. I had no idea such a blatant example of how awful they were there had been in writing in my house for most of my life.

 

To me, the most concerning bit was that they ..... adopted .... a centipede ....

 

like imagine going home how was school well I spent an hour in a trash can that's nice
