I’ve never met a person who liked casinos that I could fully be friends with and trust to be normal - every time it checks out. I can even call it in advance when I suspect someone would be the type of person to take a vacation to go to a casino.

i'm very much of the opinion that when i'm on vacation, yeah sitting on a beach drinking a margarita sounds fun, but i'd always much rather be DOING things. it's why we go to Disney so frequently, and we've been on two cruises in the last 3-4 years (one part of our honeymoon). I just feel like, for the price (especially if you get a deal) there's no better value for you. Incredible food options (one of the best steaks ive ever eaten was on a cruise ship), obviously the unlimited drinking package is a perk, but its always so easy to pivot and go from sitting by the pool to playing bingo or rock climbing or go karting, and if you've got a good itinerary, the shore excursions are heaps of fun.

i get the fear of open water, i get the fear of confinement, and i also get not wanting to be around that many people especially after a situation like this, but man, given the option i'd probably take a cruise every year as my vacaction if i could.

yes, but i think more so brooklyn/NYC would be 'known' for that - i think long island's top claim to fame would be the bagels, but pizza is probably top 3 along with the aforementioned traffic
