I guess what I should say is that right now, just as important as vaccine info is just info on how the virus actually behaves

we’re all talking all sorts of precautions and throwing them to the wall in hopes they will stick

I hope that more studies come out that can actually tell us the likelihood of spreading (or killing!) under certain conditions , because that’s the only way to make a judgement call of if a situation is “safe”

 

the thing is the whole is the answer to is this "particular activity" dangerous is who the fuck knows haha, personally my haircut lasts 20 minutes and I don't talk so it would probably be fine as long as everyone is wearing masks but I'm still giving it a week or two

There are so many variables into play in every given situation that it’s impossible to say with any level of certainty
And at the end of the day people need to assess those variables and make decisions on a case by case basis

However I think it’s false reporting to say they didn’t infect any of the 140. It looks like they only tested 46, and they’re just saying since none of the others came forward with symptoms they’re assuming they were negative. Which I feel like is a stretch.
Out of the ~100 untested some could have gotten it and been asymptomatic or a mild enough case.
