I actually meant people who are looking for a second partner not just a hook up! But you’re right it’s probably less frustrating if you’re using it for that reason. Although again I can’t relate bc as a demisexual I have never scrolled through a dating app and been like yes I want to fuck this person lol but I fully recognize that is a ‘me’ thing that I’m in the minority on

I don’t want to encounter one in the wild of course but they don’t live here so that’s never been a concern but it makes it even more wild to imagine finding one on your roof

For sure I think most people feel a similar way about dating apps, but I think you also have to consider how much you wanna bone vs. the downside you mention and we’ve all seen from dating apps. Seems to me they’re usually pretty up front about it you know so it’s cuts through some of the small talk (probably, this is all conjecture)

Only issue I have/had with one couple in particular who were like being judgmental about not being poly and like pretending like it makes them more of a radical or a Marxist or whatever than me cause they have an open relationship. If that works for you I’m genuinely happy for you that kind of stuff can take a lot to figure out but like...people have been f&sing with multiple people since the dawn of time it’s not like an achievement you know

For the record what I’m saying was coming not from the perspective of seeing these people on dating apps and being annoyed (haven’t been on the apps in a while), but rather from the perspective of watching someone I know who is happily engaged post posts complaining about men on dating apps
