Can someone explain to me what Terry Crews did wrong? People seem super pissed at him and from where I’m standing he hasn’t done anything wrong? Seems like he can never catch a break. Even when he stepped up and spoke out against sexual assault he got shat on?

also saying people want black supremacy is a myth they just want equality

people using his sexual assault against him is wrong though

 

As far as I understand the latest is because he tweeted something like “breaking white supremacy without white people is just black supremacy” or something like that

Yeah he’s definitely in the wrong in the America’s Got Talent instance. Should’ve just stood up for her. But in this particular instance I’m not sure I personally see what he’s done wrong. Idk. I read it as just him saying both black and white people need to work together, accept each other’s help and that supremacist attitudes as a whole aren’t helpful. It’s hyperbole sure, but it just seemed to me like a bit of a reach that folk reacted the way they did.

I get that black supremacy talk is tone deaf...even coming from a respected black figure. I guess he should’ve omitted that part as it wasn’t pertinent to the message?
