    I was just having this talk with a friend since I’m now (attempting) entering the workforce without that experience

    I’m like the amount of older people who clutch their pearls and act like I’m an entitled piece of shit for having the audacity to believe I deserve to be paid for my work

    I will say I guess it’s one thing if you’re getting college credit but even that is like...then you’re kinda paying to work for free it’s a mess

    I went to the doctor and got labs done just for them to be like Kanye shrug migraines have so many potential causes it could be anything. And then they charged me nearly $400 with insurance for the pleasure.

    I have one friend from high school left in my hometown who I care enough to see when I visit. Her dad was a statie for 30 years and she has not been a fan of my FB posts lately heh. Planning on doing a 40% shit post later so I'm sure that will continue to endear me.

    This isn't really a complaint just more like...of course that's how shit turned out for me lol

    It's bs honestly. If I didn't have insurance it would've been hundreds more. For like honestly nothing. She wants me to go back in a few weeks for more labs to see if my levels have changed but like nahhh, not when the lab work comes out to over $100 per lab with insurance sis I don't think so

    i guess i should be grateful about my insurance then, since i did 2 doctor visits and some lab work and paid like $75 total between the three.

    This is what blows my mind. The moronic system literally encourages people to not go to the doctors and get stuff checked up on because nobody wants to pay it. Just baffles me how America is always seen as the ‘leader of the free world’ and yet...you’ve got THAT ‘healthcare’ system and THOSE police. Europe’s far from perfect but hot damn is the difference stark sometimes

    I mean he was always going to be the better option but he had no backbone. Any tough questions he’d just sit on the fence and try to please everyone. It was infuriating because he had good policy ideas but he never presented himself as anything remotely appealing to the public. He was really divisive. Think Bernie but without any of the charm, and some bizarre opinions on terrorism. I wanted him in, badly, because Boris Johnson is a joke. But he had the personality of a fucking wet wipe. He didn’t stand a chance
