How are y’all doing with quarantine? I still haven’t really gone anywhere in 3 months now but I feel like there’s very few people left like me

 

Okay not okay that everyone magically decided it was over , just been doing essential things

 

I've visited family and select friends, while remaining as distant as we can, but other than that i haven't really gone out out, as a lot of places here are still closed, but i am far less paranoid about it than I was in the beginning, the vast majority of people i encounter in public are all in masks and are more than respectful of space. we enter phase 2 on wednesday and all the places near us are posting their 'outside dining' guidelines, so i guess we'll see what happens when people have a legitimate reason to venture out besides getting groceries lol

 

I still haven’t gone anywhere since March. I did go out and get the mail this afternoon instead of doing it at night which was more of a personal victory than it probably should have been. I still have no idea when I’ll feel safe enough to leave and I’ll probably need some kind of therapy to deal with my fear properly when the time comes.

 

I'm back in the office for the first time today, still waiting on my covid test since we've been to 6 protests but hey make me come back in to do everything I was doing at home anyway and still on a reduced salary...

I've taken to walking this trail behind my apartment that goes through the city, allowing me to exercise, get some sun, and see the various neighborhoods. It can get tricky to avoid people at times because many others are doing the same, but it's wide enough to maintain 6ft most of the time.

Definitely noticed traffic on the roads has returned to what it used to be and fewer people are wearing masks (the majority still do - especially when going to stores and whatnot but not as much while out walking/jogging/biking). Gonna be interesting what happens if we're forced to shut it all down again.

a kid got in trouble for using a racial slur and he apologized and immediately after he used it again

A white girl showed up at the end of the protest I went to on Saturday and this guy there was like she called me the n word and her dad is a cop why the f is she here (apparently there had been drama in high school) and then they almost had a fight hahaha. Tbh I wish they had kicked her ass
