I expected it to be pretty full in here but there’s only like 15 people

 

Going tonight with a buddy. Could only get seats on the second row. Let’s do this.

 

I hope SNL or someone does an Abbott and Costello bit about people going to see this:

Man 1: "Hey, what are y'all going to see tonight?"

Some Couple: "Us"

M1: "Yeah, you two. Y'all are seeing a movie tonight, right? Want to meet up with us after?"

SC: "Sure, after Us."

M1: "...wtf..."

lol, cheesy as hell but I still had a giggle

I’m sitting here waiting and it was supposed to start at 8:30 and it has just been a blank screen no previews or anything
They said it’s having technical difficulties and will start at 8:50 and go straight in no previews smh
Im just like of course it’s in 3 different theaters and ours is the one messed up lol ahhh

 

Lupita’s dance/fight scene with herself was fucking amazing

 

this was great!!! can’t wait to see it again

 

Need to process a lot of this. One thing’s for sure, should’ve ended it after her smirk, HATED the final camera work/shot.

 

This was awesome. Agree a lot to process, I think I'm a little confused but I'm not sure.

 

More fun and less scary than I expected but, expectations are a bitch. Does not quite live up to Get Out but it’s still good time. Absolutely beautifully shot, great music and performances.

 

Wow. This was nuts and super fun

 

Had to immediately look up Jeremiah 11:11

 

Lots to unpack..... phenomenal movie though imo.

 

Can’t stop thinking about that shot of her face down on the table with the glass broken and Red in the reflection.

 

I loved this. Crazy, intense, beautifully shot. I loved all the characters. Acting and story A+. Sometimes I noticed that I was holding my breath lol. Can’t wait to add this to my annual Halloween time /Horror film marathon Wasn’t a fan of the twist ending at all though, didn’t really make sense

 

I definitely have some questions about the ending

 

I really don’t think the ending works.

 

Ahhh. Okay gonna read some of the posts now!!
My thoughts: it was good, very intense very dreadful (as in, inducing dread haha), agree beautifully shot and good acting
I agree that there are some confusing aspects of it but I think a lot of parts are just kinda “suspending disbelief” kind of things.
Also, its lame to compare it to get out but you can’t help but do so, so....I liked get out a bit better.
Absolutely loved the dance/fight sequence at the end. I also kinda called the switch at the beginning BUT had been convinced it wasn’t real and then of course at the end it was revealed.

 

I wanna hear more about why y’all think the ending doesn’t work so you’re gonna have to give me more than just a vague statement pls
