I’m not convinced him being hit by a car and falling 20 feet puts his body through that roof though. The entire thing just feels staged to me.
i am on board with it feeling staged about the roof hole, but then why not cover the hole with something white (or close to whatever the roof color was) or don't leave his glasses / phone / flip flops, unless him getting found was part of the plan? i feel like common sense would tell you that if his car is found, a helicopter is going to be brought in, but maybe they didn't think anyone would think of / see the hole. i could see that too.
I guess it seems to me like whoever did it tried to stage it as a suicide? Obviously they didn’t really think about the logistics of where he would have jumped from and whatnot, but it feels to me like that’s what they were going for, so I’m thinking they wanted the body to be found.
Hmmm. Idk from same angles I was like oh the ledge seems possible but then it would show it from a different angle and I was like ok that doesn’t seem possible lol. Plus the ledge is small so no running start so I don’t know how the angles worked it seems dumb but I’m like a REAL lawyer would have thrown something similar in weight from the ledge and windows to see how it fell.lmao. Obviously that might damage the roof further lol but it might also prove that it isn’t enough force or the angle just doesn’t work etc Similarly they could have dropped his exact phone type and glasses from that height to see what happens Yeah this is where I’m at. I’m so confused I hadn’t heard that theory. Hmm. I feel like that person would have to be going soo fast to send him that far? Lol. And to have him go straight down in the hole bc the hole was very vertical? Idek this is all very perplexing. I am not on the team of thinking it was staged tho bc breaking through a roof like that to stage something seems very difficult to imagine
Mannnnn that last episode. Not that any episode ends on a good note of course but goddamn did they have to end the season with the most despicable person / episode?
ok finished up episode 1 I think Porter probably had him killed if I had to guess. idk how tho. whole thing makes no sense to me. the Freemason thing is obviously huge
Omg I'm on episode two and wtf at the husband locking the kid out right after his mom goes missing and totally justifying that in his brain?! Cruel af
Gonna try to watch this soon but I don't wanna have nightmares so I have to find a time to do it during the day. For real, even the first season of Stranger Things (I only watched season 1 so far) scared me too much that afterwards I had to watch an episode of The Office or South Park before bed so that I could sleep soundly.
Was there any indication of the impact to the floor where the body landed after crashing through the roof?
I didn’t realize there were only six episodes, and despite having only watched one, I’m kind of sad now.
First of all, this show is so sad. I'm only half way through the second episode and I've been crying for an hour and a half. I definitely think he could have gone from one of the ledges. I've seen way too many (every) CSI episodes so I'm totally sitting here like where's the weird molded gelatin body they always use to recreate the crime scene? I also thought some type of aircraft. that's a metal roof, and the pictures of it don't look like someone pried it open from the outside. But how did no one hear either the roof being opened, or a body falling THROUGH a metal roof. Or if it was from an aircraft, no one heard that either? And there are (what look like) glass sections on the roof very near the hole, so if it was staged, why not just throw him through the glass? Seems a hell of a lot easier. It definitely wouldn't have ruled out the parking garage.
I’m only on episode 2 but I’m glad there’s an alien episode even if it’s not going to end up being good. This show wouldn’t be the same and give me the same nostalgia if there wasn’t a ghost or alien thrown in there every now and then.
I liked every episode including the alien one. For every “real” alien encounter show, it’s never about how good the supposed abduction story is or how good/funny/cheesy the re-enactments are, it’s always a human study piece of the abductees. And the people in this episode I find really interesting and kinda funny. The one long-haired guy looks like hippy Trump.
I think Alonzo was definitely killed by at least one of the racist dudes at that party. infuriates me that not everyone was given a lie detector test. also fuck that douche that went out for cigarettes and never came back for his friend. did he ever even give an explanation for not coming back for him? super shady
oh yeah, he said he told his friend to give him a ride and never even went back or checked to make sure they hooked up
yeah he leaves for cigarettes, gets lost about 30 minutes away from the party and then just... goes home? Not sure if the friend he called and asked to give Alonzo a ride home was one of the friends that went with them and drove separately or if they ran into him there but that seems all sorts of odd. I kind of get it. In my early 20’s I feel like if a friend was that far away they’d probably say “fuck it” and go home too. HOWEVER they’d probably do that if the party was in town. Pretty sure they wouldn’t do that if we were in a town we’d never been in before that’s an hour away, but then again people in their 20’s can be total assholes.
I totally believe a few 18-22 year olds were reckless and careless while drinking and didn’t think their friend would be murdered, lmao cmon you guys
I mean I believe it, it's just terrible and something they'll have to live with also could've easily been prevented
