Cops under 40 exclusively like either country or rap, there are no exceptions
A particularly ironic use of that joke format, without a doubt. Also isn’t Hetfield awful? I don’t know anything about the other members offhand, but I know he’s said a ton of gross things over the years.
Now remembering that Metallica used a real prison / prisoners for the sake of aesthetic, very chill
Wow the sound of that snare is making my ears bleed
There is no way the cock rock industry would still exist if not for cops and the military.
Eh I see that as more for guys who wish they were cops
Need an alternate timeline where Kurt Ballou or Steve Albini produced St Anger instead, and was approximately 1/3rd of the runtime
this was a johnny cash at san quentin/folsom prison gesture though
This thread made me curious enough to google Hetfield and remind me of his Guantanamo comments, so this is particularly lovely to see.
So...Cash did the same thing?
Cash did it to entertain the prisoners, Metallica did it to exploit them.
......anyone who thinks that those particular Metallica albums suck are dorks? Is that better?
I kinda thought as I grew to love Lou Reed, I might come around on Lulu. I...did not.
As much as I love him, Mark has been the least talented member of every incarnation of Blink besides Scott
I have a new opinion that has to be unpopular: Papa Roach has quite a few great songs
I really can't help you if you're one of those people who doesn't like Last Resort.
Never listened to them and don’t intend to
I'm probably weird as hell because I like a couple of their songs like Scars, Getting Away with Murder and Lifeline but I've never really liked Last Resort
"Scars" kinda works still because they were trying to ride the emo wave just enough.
I like Scars, I really like a couple of songs off of The Paramour Sessions (including a great live version of Scars) and I also like a song they put out this year. The reason I posted this opinion is because that new song came up on Spotify. The accompanying album however is bad. I mainly just think the guy is a good singer and therefore when they make no-nonsense songs, they can be pretty good. They don’t most of the time though.
