as for betty who, shes a queen of the gays. she does a lot of pride events and smaller shows. it really makes me sad to see her not having massive success.

I was really into Jessica Pratt when she opened for Kurt Vile a couple weeks ago and have been meaning to peep the album

Also it didn't happen immediately but seeing Screaming Females as an opener helped me appreciate them more, and I love them now

While I think they've written some truly great songs and are capable of writing a great album one day, I've never been able to make it through an entire The 1975 album without getting bored.

  10. A Weekend In The City is Bloc Party's best album, don't @ me

I fucking love it but I don’t see how it’s better than silent alarm. That album was lightning in a bottle, completely unique and impossible to replicate

Haven’t listened to Silent Alarm in about 10 years, might give it a listen in a bit.

I like the music of Bon Iver, but would be better if someone else was singing.

You’re gonna be surprised how well it holds up especially compared to a lot of mid 00s indie

listen to this song (it’s the first track and the best)

  22. I’m not really a fan, but Greta Van Fleet is completely innocuous and the level of hate they receive is just silly

My beef with GVF lies not in the fact that they shamelessly rip off Led Zeppelin, but do so and then go out of their way to tell you they're not trying to sound like Led Zeppelin. Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining

More press, more coverage, more hate. It's how it works. They became big quickly and that attracts attention regardless of whether it's warranted.

the problem is their music sounds like it was made by a bunch of 15 year olds that were raised by people that say shit like “music today isn’t real music”
