100% wrong Edit: for the record, I really like Banjo Kazooie, but something Ocarina changed video games forever.
Banjo-Kazooie was pretty fun Zelda games are really fun They're so insanely different that it'd be a weird comparison to make
I think Mario-Kart 64 is pretty great with a group of buds. Double dash is awful and the one for WiiU is pretty cool.
I think each SSB game is solid in its own right, but Melee remains my favorite by far. The first one laid down the groundwork, just didn't execute it as well as the rest for its generation Story mode in Brawl was awesome
Have you guys seen the smash bros documentary? If you haven't, it's amazing and i will leave it here. It's a 9 part series.
I disliked Melee the most. But that's relative because I love them all. My buddy from college does those Smash tournaments, travels a lot. People are super into it, I'm definitely going to watch that vid. The thing I remember about playing with him and my other roommates is that they were so vehemently anti-weapons during matches lol
Zelda is one of those franchises that's amazing in so many ways and extremely important and also it's ridiculous how all the games are immune to criticism somehow, like it's illegal to criticize one of the big Zelda games for some reason
Up till like 12-13 my obsessions game series wise was Final Fantasy (this trickled into my late teens too) and any WWF game. Outside the big names like Kingdom Hearts, GTA, Madden, etc I did really get into Okage: Shadow King and the Dark Cloud game series as well. Never did get into stuff like a Starfox, even as a kid I like shit like Shining Force, Road Rash, Wrestlefest, and Sonic more haha.
Just to add to the discussion...to be UPSET about the popularity of "covfefe," is just as ridiculous is it is to think it's funny.
I have probably bought as many N64 games in the 2010s as I had in childhood. That's a weird way to say I bought five games. I don't have any of the Mario games for it though, they resell too high I always had a really short attention span with games as a kid so I never got far in any of those. I have tried a couple times to finish OOT and haven't done it
The peak of my gaming generations was Sega & PS2. PS1 was a short lived one (and mostly FF7-9, WWF In Your House, and Smackdown 2 lol) cus I held onto Sega for longer than most, and PS3 I just got wrapped up in Madden, Skate 3, and Skyrim lmao.
I thought it was clear I was joking, haha. I do however think they're pretty flawless. Its cool for people to disagree though.
Persona has leapfrogged Final Fantasy for me Glad everyone agrees Marilyn Monroe is not overrated and actually legitimately great
I dunno. I'm a super-fan but can acknowledge that the series has definite issues. Like I enjoy Skyward Sword but that game has problems up the wazoo and I feel similarly about Twilight Princess. With that said, games like Ocarina, Wind Waker, A Link Between Worlds, and Breath of the Wild (arguably one of the best games I've ever played) solidify it as one of the best video game franchises ever, in my book.
