I keep all the cards I'm given just because it's cool to remember them all. low key though my grandma has used the same birthday card for a few years now and I'm like yo abuela I see what you doing.
My girlfriend has made me a custom Valentine's Day card every year since we've been together, they're all really sweet. Those are the only cards I've kept though. The idea of mandatory thank you cards is the actual worst though. I remember my mom sitting me down as a kid and making me write them and just being so frustrated that a phone call somehow just wasn't good enough
yeah I know some people who really like them and keep them all and that's cool. My old rm was really sentimental and did that. But like ok, if I'm at a wedding shower and the person opens my gift and says "Thank you" like for me that's enough. Basically unless they throw my gift in the dirt and stomp on it, I assume they appreciate the gesture. I don't need a card two weeks later to say it again!!!!
My girlfriend got me a gift card for Christmas that was clearly meant for a dog, we thought it was hilarious that there are literally gift cards for dogs
Well you have Chandler who impersonates Bob so he can date a woman under false pretenses. He pretends to be Bob and then stands her up so he can comfort her and have sex. You have Ross who dates a student, and he thinks his first magical kiss with Rachel is at a party when she's passed out on a bed and he romanticizes their kiss because he could sweeeear he felt her kiss back for just a second like wtf? He tries to make out with his own cousin, and impersonates a masseur to touch a hot girl. And Joey is Joey. Disables the bathroom locks when Rachel moves in, takes down the shower curtain, asks potential (female, at his request) roommates creepy sexual questions during their interview, has another name he uses with women, the women express surprise when he hugs them without trying to grope them, etc etc.
Damn. Haven't watched the show in so many years I'd forgotten about all of those examples bar Ross dating that student.
Yeah cards are just a good way to make you feel sad or bad. And enables hoarding and being an uncreative /unthoughtful person. And they're commercial which isn't punk.
I enjoy Friends. Without it we wouldn't have HIMYM which isn't a good thing because HIMYM sucks so much.
I'm guessing you never played Halo 3 online on a 4-way split screen and immediately aimed your rocket launcher at the ground at the start of the match blowing up your entire team and getting you booted from the match instantaneously?
the HIMYM finale was one of the most frustrating finishes to a show of all time. totally agree about the show running 3 seasons too long.
I somehow have only seen a couple of episodes of How I Met Your Mother, I'll stick to Definitely Maybe
1-3 are absolutely not and were some of the greatest multiplayer experiences I've had bar none. Online or split screen. Such a shame the Master Chief Collection was a disaster - I would have bought an xbone solely for that.
