I don't drink tea often but I'll have one if someone's making one, milk I like a lot. I've been drinking nothing but water and the odd orange juice this month though and now I don't feel ill when drinking water so I'm going to move to one can a day otherwise drinking water/milk or juice. Trying to be healthier.
Being healthy is cool as hell. I've given up all soda, chocolate, fast food and as much sugar as possible (as well as going vegetarian 6months ago) and it genuinely makes such a positive difference to how you feel on a daily basis. I still go brazy on the potato chips from time to time but the only real unhealthy thing I consume now is alcohol. All my "holiday weight" from this christmas/new year came from drinking so I've reduced it to only drinking when socialising.
I doubt I could do most of those things but I don't really drink alcohol which is good I guess. I don't feel any better so far but it's only been 10 days.
I'd say 3-4 weeks is when you start feeling the changes, so keep it up brah! With diet changes, people say if you can make it to 21 days without any setbacks then it becomes a "habit" - not sure how true that is but 21 days is a reasonable target to aim for imo.
sugars are a good thing as far as many many health conscious people are concerned. when fruits and grains are essential parts of the human diet, it's obvious that sugar is something your body needs. If someone ever told me they cut down on those to cut down on sugar in their diet I'd have a good laugh
Anything with added sugars is what you want to avoid tho, and is generally what is mean by people who say they are "avoiding sugar".
I don't think grains are essential and fruit consumption should be limited. But of course cutting down on processed food and added sugar is more practical than cutting out grains entirely
Dude I've totally fallen off the wagon but I did the exact same thing a few months ago in addition to working out and I've never felt better in my life. I was in really good shape, I felt confident, clearer skin. Good luck to you, keep it up!
Hell yeah. I all butts Thank you. Choosing to exercise (weights) & eat healthy has made a huge difference to my mental health as well as my physical health - I used to be so inactive it was like my body & mind were just working at minimum capacity & I was so tired and sluggish all the time.
i 100% believe in ghosts and no one can tell me otherwise. dont know what the consensus is on this site but statistically speaking that should be an unpopular opinion
I work at a theatre built in 1932 and, while I can't say I believe in ghosts, working here has made me believe in the possibility of.....stuff haha. Not necessarily ghosts but maybe some lingering energy or some bullshit like that.
I'm a skeptic but I do think it's weird that some people are so sure about ghosts and superstitions and religious things but guffaw at aliens. Idk if I'm on board with aliens but I don't think it's a totally unreasonable deal in context of some other things
i was convinced by the probability argument about aliens. if the universe is infinite it seems much more likely that we are not only ppl in it
I think there is some sort of life out there, I don't think it's necessarily advanced, it might just be spaceworms which still sound rad
