my family makes sweet potatoes with marshmallows, pecans, and brown sugar so it's basically the first dessert course
Come on, you know I wouldnt of been able to make that remark without you inspiring me. I just Ian'ed you
LOL WUT? Diplo is an asshole.<--- not 100% sure the consensus here on whether this is unpopular or not?
They do look similar don't they? I will always see James as Dawson which makes me not take him seriously when he takes on serious roles.
Same. Flew out to Chicago for Riot Fest and other than the fact that my flight was at the ass crack of dawn, I didn't mind it at all. I had The Martian on my laptop so I just watched that and was there before I even finished the movie. It was actually my first time flying since New Years 2011/12. I need to travel more.
idek if this is unpopular so much as things nobody else cares about, but I really hate on book covers when the author's name is bigger than the title.
I will never get how people are comfortable using Uber and Airbnb, especially Uber no I don't want some rando who's randomly available at 2 am on a Wednesday or whatever driving around, I barely trust actually taxi drivers and they're trained/that's their job with Airbnb it would just feel awkward sleeping in a stranger's bed and using their bathroom, plus that's totally something serial killers would use to lure victims, Craigslist is too obvious they've evolved
I mean if you need a ride at 2am on a Wednesday, chances are you don't have a lot going on either? They're just trying to make money, haha. Plus, there's a rating system -- it's not gonna keep out all the weirdos but it definitely helps! Airbnb is great and generally less expensive than nicer hotels unless you're staying at a dump or something. The feeling of being at "home" away from home is nice, offers a lot of freedom and typically the owners will leave you a bunch of free snacks and stuff to try and get a good rating. The only time I've ever met the owners was when I stayed in a guest house once, but they were super nice and their kids were adorable and totally stayed out of our hair. The couple let use their bikes and gave us a bunch of pointers on cool places to go in town. Idk I guess I could see how it could go wrong but I've had nothing but great experiences. The newer service I feel weird about is Postmates/Uber Eats. Like, I've used them, but only under dire circumstances. Random people, unsupervised with my food is a little scary. Always have felt the same way about pizza delivery but for whatever reason have never cared quite as much.
