Most celebs are pretty boring and you just see them work out and go to parties and junk. John Mayer is probably the best account I follow though Also I hate people who post snaps with loud music playing, especially at the club
My unpopular opinion is that I care too much about models and Gigi, Bella, and Kendall are terrible models and it legit angers me to watch them on the runway like I'm feeling a type of way about people who walk in a straight line rn but the nepotism is glaring!!! Like Bella literally resembles a walking corpse how is this her profession
I think Bella is drop-dead gorgeous, def one of my celeb mega-crushes lol - she is striking/beautiful etc. etc. but she also has the cutest smile it's like, ahhh . But the brands they model for just take advantage of their huge social media following and the major exposure that brings; possibly none of them would be models before these new social media platforms existed.
I think they're all pretty but they're all lifeless on the runway and in print. They stood out in a bad way at the VS fashion show because of how lifeless and devoid of charisma they were. I know ppl think good model = tall, thin, and pretty and thats it, but I swear there's a talent to it too lol. I know it's just modeling but if it's ur job and ur getting paid like make an attempt!! But I guess why not if they don't have to.
Me either. I'm not trying to watch something that makes me feel ugly and fat haha I just think of how amazing our supermodels were when I was growing up. They don't hold a candle to them.
Unpopular opinion: I would rather see just about any other movie in the theater right now over Rogue One.
Aside from the obviously impossible standards it sets for women, I dislike VS in general. Probably doesn't help they haven't carried my cup size since I was in high school, but that is more of a fashion-industry-wide problem than just VS.
The original films were independently made against all odds, innovative technical accomplishments made in opposition to the massive studio system and succeeding in spite of it. They were movies about small rebels fighting against the Empire (specifically, an allegory for Vietnam vs. American imperialism). The new films are studio made by Disney, as Imperialistic as corporations can get, churning out safe and unnecessary works with none of the independent soul of the original three, turning urgent and unique cinematic accomplishments into a neverending parade of studio sci-fi blockbusters that, so far, exist more in the massive nostalgia shadow of the original films rather than as their own unique and important stories. It bums me out a lot.
I don't like VS either cause I'm a cheapo but I like to watch tall pretty models dwarf celebs and also watch them flub and when Ariana Grande gets hit in the face with wings.
Stuff like the old Disney animation and cartoons like The Flintstones etc. has a certain charm to it for sure!
Man I grew up on everything from Dr. Seuss to Peanuts to Disney to old & 90s Nick/Cartoon Network that stuff always inspired my own creativity as an artist. I'm closer to 30 now and I can still throw on The Grinch Grinches The Cat In The Hat, Halloween Is Grinch Night, Aladdin," "Scooby Doo, Rocko's Modern Life, Courage The Cowardly Dog, etc and enjoy em like I would anything I get into now cus they are so key in my growth and development as a person & artist.
