I don't get the appeal of brunch, I don't drink or like most breakfast foods so it's just a very limited lunch menu for me usually

I always feel conflicted with Cfa. My friend's brother has been a part of their foster care program and when he turned 18 they covered all of his college tuition and help with living expenses. They do it for all the kids in the program.

But they're hands down one of the most homophobic old southern baptist companies. It blows my mind that they still act like conversion therapy and stuff can make you straight..it is so fucking stupid.

Truett Cathy was also the speaker at my college graduation and he's a dickhead.

 

I like brunch but I don't really get how it's different from breakfast most of the time

Like Jack In The Box announced their brunch menu but they already serve breakfast all day so what's the difference? Not to hold them up as reel food or anything

 

related I hate that Jack In The Box has something called a brunch menu and that Olive Garden uses the word "artisinal" in their advertising, I feel so snobby but words have meanings

 

I think dunkin got in legal trouble for calling something on their menu artisanal because clearly it being mass produced means t can't be artisanal

There is no situation in which American cheese is anything but an abomination.

 

I can think of many where it's not. Like on a burger or fried chicken sandwich or in a grilled cheese. Cheesesteaks. Cheese fries. Etc.

American cheese is definitely a last resort cheese wise. Provolone is my personal fav, least sandwich wise.

But there is definitely things American can pass by on. As Ken said burgers and cheese fries.... grilled cheese too. Outside that though I'm with Carpet... My Dad use to eat american cheese slices as a snack, never could do that, same with my Mom and (American) cheese sandwiches lmao.

 

I'm not saying it is the best cheese, but it works so well in certain applications.
