I understand this one. I get shit from people for not liking LotR or really any fantasy at all beside the Elder Scrolls games. This was all before GoT, I love that. But it is the exception. I can dig most Sci Fi, but never been into fantasy.

If I can make an unpopular opinion about fantasy novels: Patrick Rothfuss's are terrible and I'm in such the minority on that one in the fantasy reading community.
