I love the narrative for Transistor. Top 5 game for me. Maybe #1.

 

Every MGS title since 'Metal Gear Solid' on the PS1 has had a great story. It's a damn shame about Kojima's portrayal of women in those games though because it really is juvenile/unnecessary.

 

Dark Souls/Bloodborne are incredible at building worlds and lore.

 

I hope everyone knows I didn't mean any sort of personal attack with the opinion on video games. I'm just really into the publishing world right now and the correlations are super interesting to me.

Roller Coaster Tycoon taught me a lot about math and physics via game play, so I know firsthand the good games can bring. There's a ton of relevant study on the positive effects of Minecraft on kids, too.

Final Fantasy X is still my favorite game of all time.

Yeah idk I can't really get into story driven video games that much. Have had Last of Us since I got a PS4...would rather listen to music and play some fast paced CoD/Battlefield tho

roller coaster tycoon and zoo tycoon were my two favorite games growing up. and all the backyard sports games

 

These plus SimCity as a kid

 

I still played that ish off and on throughout college when I needed a mental break. I think Windows 8 was when they quit releasing patches and updates. Sad moment in gaming history. I wonder if they're updated it for Windows 10...

 

Two things.

1) I wish people would pay more attention to their diet. I have family/friends that are suffering from the dumbest diseases and conditions that are likely diet induced and would clear up if they'd just watch what they fucking eat. Don't eat less, just eat real foods. Instead they eat garbage all day long and then depend on bullshit products like It Works Wraps, Advocare, and the like to help them maintain healthy weight.

2.) I started keeping physical copies of everything I can. I buy records so my children can hopefully inherit them one day and appreciate the art, maybe get a peek into my psych, and realize why I loved the records I have. I also tried blogging and realized that I'd rather journal in my journal, keep them, and hope my kids find them one day. Maybe in 100 years a great great great grandchild will have them and cherish them. It all started because I was uploading music to my digital library one day when I was like "How am I going to pass this along? A fucking hard drive?"

 

the only books I've read lately are the rap yearbook and also the best team money can buy. I basically only read sports books.

I used to be heavy into listening to podcasts when I didn't have a job but now they've become more of a just a thing I listen to occasionally.

 

Only computer game I play is Football Manager, which is the specciest game of all time. I love it to death though.
