Generally, hot showers >>>> cold showers. BUT I do think that the most needed cold shower is almost always gonna be better than the most needed hot shower Also shower sex is bad
Emma Watson is such a bad actress that I become upset watching her in anything. I tried watching a Harry Potter movie today and could not do it. She should never have gotten cast as Belle because she cannot act or sing. Like I get it, sometimes we don't know how child actors will turn out as they get older but we have found out and the answer is a no. She seems nice and tries to use her platform for good, but sis just sail away on your HP money and stop acting.
I watched Harry Potter 2 and 4 last night and I thought Daniel was far and away the worst actor of the bunch. The dialogue in those movies is ridiculous and hard enough to work with, but he was not pulling it off as well as the others, particularly Malfoy. He’s good in the movies he’s done since, though. Haven’t kept up with what Emma has done
Tbh I have so many issues with the HP movies in general. Emma usually is the least of my worries. I just happened to turn it on midway where she was unconvincingly doing something terrible and also I'm bitter cause gugu should've been Belle and she was playing a feather duster like the disgrace of it all.
I watched all the Harry Potter movies for the first time this year... the first few were a slog but I thought it was pretty great. So cool to see them grow up before your eyes.
Idk about his success story being wonderful but he's certainly a smart businessman and Harmful If Swallowed/Retaliation were pretty formative in terms of getting me into comedy.
There are lots of interviews out there that all have pieces of it all but I can summarize (in terrible fashion because I'm not that good of a writer) Dane Cook had an alcoholic father and came from an abusive household, he was always the quiet kid as a result and began attending comedy shows for escapism in high school. He fell in love with comedy and started doing open mics coming up with guys like Bill Burr, Patrice O'Neal, etc. He was one of the first to use social media as a tool and interact with fans in a direct way which paved the way for people like Louis CK (for lack of better example) to do direct-to-fan specials and the like. Around the peak of his career his mom and dad died of cancer within months of each other. He never escaped from the Louis CK theft allegations due to Louis CK being too popular and Cook being too easy to hate, even though (IMO) it was a stretch in the first place. His silly style of comedy was always meant to be means to a slightly bigger platform above open mics so he could do the comedy he wanted, but ended up being too astronomically huge to escape from.
His stand up specials used to be such a big deal. I remember everyone at school would be talking about them the next day after airing on comedy Central. I barely remember them but I remember feeling like he had a joke about how people use the word rape which was kind of ahead of it's time but my memory is foggy. Like he was critiquing how gamers would use it iirc.
I know this looks like a fake trailer for a sitcom that you’d see in a movie...but this is all too real
I love Chris D'Elia, literally my favourite comedian. though admittedly his last special wasn't all that. If you don't like him, y'cuda!
