The students make me watch Talladega Nights so much. It has not aged well. Anchorman is still a classic, though.
Elf came out in 2003. So you're saying Step Brothers, Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, Talladega Nights, Blades Of Glory, and The Other Guys are all bad. Whut.
I know people like Step Brothers and the Other Guys. Anchorman is probably the only post-Elf Will Ferrell that I still love
Yeah, never got Will Ferrell. Step Brothers is the most overrated comedy I've seen maybe ever. Anchorman is okay.
If you don’t find the “Aim for the bushes” scene in “The Other Guys” hilarious, I don’t know what to tell you. I think “Step Brothers” was probably his last decent comedy altogether though. He’s been coasting since then.
Anchorman, like most great comedies, is a bit overplayed but man for the longest time that shit slayed. I agree on step brothers being overrated though. Other guys forgotten and supremely underrated
I've always been a bit of a contrarian with Ferrell. Old School is bad. Step Brothers is eh. Anchorman is solid, but a little overrated. Yet I think Kicking and Screaming and Talladega Nights are pretty funny.
Watching "Talledega Nights" recently and seeing the trope-y "The French talk funny and they're super gay" sent me back to the 2000s when that was last considered hilarious.
Old School and Wedding Crashers aren't terrible but (along with the Hangover) spawned the career of Todd Phillips and influenced a lot of my least favorite people of 2003-2013 so I like them less in retrospect.
That one is definitely a strange one. I also don't think it's funny. I don't really understand why it's so loved.
i didn't like the other guys all that much the one time i watched but it seems i should give it another chance because everyone else likes it and evidently wants more
I still love Step Brothers lol Everything he did with McKay is easily his best work as a lead actor imo (for comedies at least)
