I’d also be fine with never again hearing the *~*edgy realistic Friends take*~* about how any of them can afford to live in a big place in NY when all they do is sit around in a coffee shop all day/never work or whatever. It falls flat the second you start picking it apart, and even if it didn’t, who tf cares lol. There would still be better shows that make less sense
Next Generation. People assure me it gets better but I am really struggling to cross the finish line. The only thing that is amusing is watching how different the characters are to the movie versions I saw as a kid.
I mean it gets better after like seasons 1-2 but if you're 5 seasons in I don't think you're ever gonna like it lol
I meant crossing the finish line for the first season. Apparently Riker's beard will be a harbinger of things to come.
oh yeah it definitely gets a lot better after that. there are still duds dispersed throughout for sure though, but the highs make up for it
It’s worth it even if all it did was bring that old man into my life. Although I will say that unlike a lot of people here, I did think some sketches were total misses and others had some good lines without being perfect. But the hits were so good and the whole thing was so tight that overall I really loved it.
I thought it was good but not great and I doubt I’ll ever watch it again. The constant quoting and gifs didn’t help either.
Everything about Disney expo screams “we paid every price to make everything you want in a further attempt to convince you we are your friends and not a hypercapitalist monopoly/empire”. I get sinister vibes from it and do not trust the artistic authenticity of any of their projects and wish they’d be broken up
I understand not trusting them as a company, their intentions, goals, ruling the world, etc... but there are hundreds, if not thousands, of talented artists there who are just trying to pay their bills and questioning their authenticity seems overly cynical/harsh.
