First season I would say isn’t really funny but it’s at least an interesting premise. Second season is really good
When Kroll is walking through the audience solemnly saying goodbye, then he sees the kids and goes “How old are you? 16? And what about you? 14? Did you like any of this?!” Couldn’t have been more perfect
I’ve had at least two friends lose their shit when I said “yeah, I like marvel movies but I don’t love any of them” like that was controversial or something
All the SDCC drops blowing up this section of the forum really reminded me of just how out of the loop/uninterested I am in in most of the MCU. I guess that’s technically an unpopular opinion, but it’s more of a total lack of one at all.
A few of my friends who used to be huge movie nerds with me during our youth are only interested in Marvel movies now and it sucks
actually I lied I have slight interest in seeing the Thor one that Taika Waititi directed that’s about it
I saw the two Thanos movies because I showed them to my students, and I saw the first Guardians of the Galaxy movies. That was more than enough.
I’m always weirded out when people say some MCU movie is horrible and another is incredible. Like, they all just phase through me and feel the same and it’s hard to discern between what I think is good or bad
The latter half of the MCU has been better than the first imo, I found myself caring more about it after like Guardians 1 or Ant-Man
it's hard to see Marvel movies as like movies when half of them are just world building and would make no sense out of context
