I like squatting so much more than deadlifting but unfortunately my knees start to hate me once again above like 125 pounds squatting. I need to start deadlifting instead. Also team no condiments on cheesesteak. steak, provolone, and fried onions
I don't think I've had a good cheesesteak. All the ones around here put bell peppers on them and that's a non-starter. With it just being cheese, meat, and onions you'd need something to cut the fat/richness like ketchup though.
It's great, the sugar and vinegar from the ketchup counteracts how salty the meat and cheese are. If you don't add it you have a sodium bomb, which I don't like. If you get a good spot and they do their onions right that works too, but most places in the area aren't really cooking them enough to get them as sweet as I'd like.
I load up my burgers with condiments as well, but I'd argue ketchup is more vital to a cheesesteak. A good burger can have flavor in the actual meat mix, whereas a corner store steak is typically just salt and pepper.
I don’t mind some peppers (hot peppers on a cheesesteak work well). My biggest gripe is when you order a cheesesteak and instead of thinly sliced steak it’s thick chunks. That’s not a cheesesteak, that’s a steak sandwich.
Pats and Genos are bad cheesesteaks ketchup is good this is the best Obviously Heinz is the best mass produced ketchup
Starting to think I am developing dementia because I came in here to post that deep dish pizza is underrated but I posted it just a month ago. Yesterday I made a joke about the presenter at work using the phrase "edge master" but then my memories tab showed me I made the exact same joke a year ago.
when you have solid material it's beneficent to grace everyone with it from time to time the classics never go out of style
