I just have to shake up a jar of tomato sauce and sugar, right? /s Honestly, maybe we need to normalize dipping fries in marinara? Works damn well for mozzarella sticks.
I only like mayo spread very thinly on a sandwich or wrap but it is a necessity for cold cuts People who use it as a dipping sauce for fries are psychopaths (sorry to be dramatic, any psychopaths in the thread)
I don't eat ketchup with fries and rarely use it at all but every (mainstream) condiment has its place. The people saying mayo/ketchup/mustard/ranch sucks or is only for children are the actual children. They're all good in the proper context.
Imagine thinking mayo is the only possible substance you can put on bread to make it not dry, although if you ask me the real problem is buying shitty bread.
Okay, wait, I have to step back and give mayo props on one front: I legitimately did not know that mayo acts as a shield preventing wet ingredients from making the bread soggy, and now it totally makes sense why Publix always asks about mayo on the bread. I just thought people here really liked mayo for some reason, but now I get that it serves a purpose. It still sucks though.
I always get weirded out when people think mayo is nasty. It's just eggs and oil, why you so scared???
My dad used to add water to the ketchup bottle at the end. So, my siblings and I would have to check if it was still good or if we had to open a new one.
Ketchup is fine it’s just not the best option for anything. Mayo is fine but too much mayo is nasty and it’s gotta be the single most likely condiment to be too much’d if I’m not self administering Ranch is the best dip for wings and tendies unless they’re buffalo which then obv bleu cheese
Wait which of those things are you putting on a cheese steak because they all sound strange to me lol
