They're not really but most places around here offer them as an option instead of pancakes/waffles/french toast when you get eggs and bacon or whatever.
I’m being pilloried for saying Raisin Bran is good and yall are talking about fucking Life cereal give me a break
I never eat breakfast during the work week but I get a bacon egg and cheese wake up wrap and hash browns from Dunks on the weekends. Stuff like pancakes is like once a year if at all Also, Raisin Bran rules. Gimme all the raisins.
Making breakfast is the first thing I do after waking up every day apart from using the bathroom. Blows my mind how common it is for others to skip breakfast. Like you haven’t eaten since yesterday and now you’re intentionally missing the best meal? This time of year I usually have oatmeal with fruit mixed in and a large mug of coffee. A tofu scramble or pancakes on occasion. Box cereal is nice in summer but I stay away from the really sugary stuff
Forgot about bagels. There was a period last year where I’d regularly have everything bagels w/ jalapeño hummus
Bagels are my least favorite vessel for a breakfast sandwich, and a bagel with cream cheese is such a bland and boring experience, but then again I can barely tolerate cream cheese and a lot of bagel places these days are insane with how much they put on. If it's all I'm offered, and I can spread a thin layer, it's fine, but meh. Muffin / biscuit / toast etc are all better for a bacon / sausage egg and cheese. Also, besides weekends (and even then it's brunch), I skip breakfast 90% of the time. Sometimes I start work at like 830 / 9 and don't eat till 130 if I'm busy enough.
