The next American destination I plan to visit is Nashville. The next international destination I plan to visit is Tokyo. I have no interest in Australia unless we can go to an Outback Steakhouse and then see a Bela Tarr movie together.
Spicy members club had a screening of WH when they died but not Tarr coming up. However there are other options
Paul Mescal is not a good actor; shows zero emotion in his face. Same look to his eyes no matter what situation he’s in.
Crazy post I think you can critique the projects he chooses as fairly lifeless Oscar bait but he is almost always the best part of them. The worst he has been is when he strayed from that and got dog walked by Denzel in the gladiator sequel but I can understand why he chose that project at least
idk how to say it without being uncharitable but i just never bought into the story on an emotional level and outside of that there is very little to recommend from the movie. if you don't connect with it on an emotional level, what else is left to the movie? i know it wasn't but it felt to me like the stereotype of what you expect from a sundance movie.
