Between Endgame, the NBA, and Game of Thrones, the internet’s basically been a lost cause for me over the last month
Lol I was gonna say I've seen wonder woman but that's DC. I did see the first iron Man back when it came out. I'm not a big movie goer in general. I go to the movies like once a year and don't rly do Redbox. And now that companies are branching off into separate streaming services that's the nail in the coffin of my movie watching lol
This is exactly how I feel and it’s a REAL bummer that it’s a hard thing to say without people acting like you’re obnoxiously ignoring a popular thing for the sake of being contrarian
I really liked the first few seasons. Then I thought it started to dip in quality and then by the end of the 5th season I think is when I stopped watching. I used to feel obligated to finish anything I started (books, games, tv) but I try to just let myself stop now if I’m not enjoying it
For what it’s worth that is the exact moment that the show took an even bigger dive in quality so you stopped at a good time. I still watch it and enjoy it but it’s not the show it once was. I think the first three or four seasons are pretty consistently great though.
Only tangentially related, but I always thought the dude who played Jorah Mormont would make an excellent Roland Deschain
I think the previous season was the first GoT season I actually paid attention to years, the show honestly made me feel like Milhouse waiting for the fireworks factory. Like get on with it.
To be fair, a lot of people DO say it for the sake of being contrarian hahaha like not engaging in pop culture makes you... superior? But there's obviously nothing wrong with simply not liking something or caring to watch it. And also to be fair this mostly happens on Twitter which I should probably spend less time on. Then there's the jackasses like me who are still watching GoT and hate it with every fiber of my being. I've just come this far and I might as well see it through to the irritating end.
My Twitter feed is just people complaining about those contrarian posts which I never see haha Plus people watching it and live tweeting every week
This but IG stories I’m mostly bitter because people at work will ask me if I watch it and when I tell them “no” I get told I must be *~*too cool*~* lol. I’m like dog you ASKED ME. And then those same people will come in every Monday and try to talk to me about details of the show, knowing full well that I’ve got no idea what they’re talking about, and then when I remind them I’m suddenly “bragging”
I’m not into rom-com’s, yet I find comfort in He’s Just Not Into You and Valentines Day... they both have been playing heavily on HBO the last couple months and if nothing is on, I’ll tune to them no matter what point of the movie it is.
Dude I love "He's Just Not That Into You" hahaha. I've seen it like 10 times and watched it on HBO again yesterday. Not sure what it is....
This betta not be unpopular but Lisa Kudrow has the best career outside of Friends. In order of fave career outside the show of the main cast it'd be like Lisa David Courteney Matthew Jennifer Matt
