Turkey is just dried-out chicken and I know that people are going to come from the rafters to tell me how their grandma cooked it a certain way that made it delicious but you can just get Publix chicken that would be better.

Turkey fucking sucks, but everything else is great. Mashed potatoes and stuffing, sign me up.

Turkey is fine. It’s not what I look forward to on Thanksgiving, but when those pieces of turkey are mixed in with stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy into a plate of hot mush, that’s good shit.

  4. Leftover sandwich with turkey is the best way to eat it

  5. Leftovers on a sandwich is the best, but my wife's family also makes turkey noodle soup with it, which is really good too.

Turkey really does suck, easily the worst of the core meats

    Cow
    Pig
    Chicken
    Turkey

Totally agree I would rather have a cooked whole chicken than a whole turkey. Turkey is truly the most boring meat, and gravy is such a Thanksgiving staple because it's necessary to mask it

Also not big on stuffing, hate cranberry sauce. Pretty much just get excited for mashed potatoes, gravy, and sometimes corn bread if it's present. Peas and corn are good, but nothing I get excited for.

Agree, turkey is a lackluster meat. I usually grab some for appearances and then load up on the ham.

What kind of aristocrat has multiple meats on standby?

Putting economics aside, I'm at a Thanksgiving work lunch and there are three different meats here, none of which are turkey. Do you not have that sort of thing?

It's a hotel. The owners have a decent presence, they own several properties across the US.

Turkey is fine. I’m okay having it at thanksgiving but definitely prefer the ham on Christmas.

Ham is amazing any time of the year.

  17. Turkey itself is boring but that’s where a good gravy comes in. Or cranberries

Not a huge ham fan, we have prime rib on Christmas. Turkey is good, just tell the person making it to not make it suck.

A nice chicken cutlet or steak. I also like veal and lamb. Ham is bottom of the barrel
