I lie on my back, pillow over my eyes. Hands at my side, and then I start counting my breaths and am passed out in seconds. I will usually roll to my side at some point. Never stomach. I’ve been using sleep tape recently too and have found myself more alert in the morning. Idk if it’s a placebo effect or not
I switch sides every 10 days. I wear a pump on my stomach and a sensor on my arm and always try to align them. Sometimes the life cycle of one of the devices ends before the other so I have to wear them on opposite sides for a night, in which case I have to sleep on my back with one arm extended upwards towards the head of the bed
