Morning showers signal to me that I'm awake. Without the morning shower, I have nothing to tell me I'm awake. But I'm humble enough to admit that night showerers are objectively right. It's always a little icky knowing I'm bringing the day into bed with me.
I just shower during the day when the kids are at daycare or asleep, no set time anymore, just whenever there's time
Per google "Washing your entire body with soap daily can be bad for your skin because it strips away natural oils, which can lead to dryness, irritation, and increased risk of infections. It can also disrupt the natural balance of microorganisms on your skin. It's better to use soap only on areas that need it, like the armpits, groin, and feet, and use plain water on other areas, especially if you have sensitive or dry skin. "
I find that to be very true for my hair and it is way less greasy since I started washing it every other day, but if I skip out on washing my face, back, and shoulders, I am in for a world of acne lol. Everybody is different tho
", it is okay and often recommended to moisturize daily after a shower, as showers can strip the skin of its natural oils, leaving it dry. Applying moisturizer while the skin is still damp helps to lock in hydration and prevent dryness, making it a crucial step for keeping skin soft and healthy. "
I feel like I have to shower in the morning or the "grog" is still on me. Idk... sometimes washing my face is enough, but usually I'll just jump in the shower. If it's just a lazy day at home, I probably won't take another shower at night, but if I go out, I'm probably going to shower when I get back home (particularly during the TX summer) or wait and shower again before bed if I plan on going out again later. basically I feel like I have to shower in the morning to get up, and then I just shower again whenever I get sweaty/dirty (which often times amounts to 2 showers in day)
I use a face wash with salicylic acid at night and now I dont get any pimps. Thank you YouTube skin girls

Re: night showers I’m black I cannot go to work with my hair looking the way it does before it’s seen water and conditioner The night shower is more of a treat for me when I had a hard day or don’t feel good
this is like… bar soap. You know they make all kinds of moisturizing and exfoliating body washes now that are fine for daily use?
Eh I’m also very used to letting the shower be like my invigorating wake up call. Much like someone else said, regardless if I shower at 9 AM or 1 PM that’s when i feel most ready to leave the house. It’s weird how morning showers zap you awake but night showers settle you down for bed. But it’s a definite thing
The obvious solution is become a morning gym guy but I know I don’t have the mental strength for that
My doctor told me I need to start doing strength training in the gym but I don't want to become a gym bro.
