I’m willing to give it a pass on not being realistic so long as the characters abide by their own logic. Michael driving a car into a lake because his gps told him so betrays even Michael’s logic.
This show has already been tainted due to its bad last few seasons and its abysmal finale, but it has been difficult watching old clips due to the constant bro-y jokes, the misogyny and the homophobia/transphobia casually thrown in there. It even got worse over the years. I don't know how many of you have watched it until the end, but Season 8 had an episode called "Twelve Horny Women", which I still regard as being one of the worst sitcom episodes I've ever seen. I'll let you guess its synopsis. To think there was a table read for it and that it got approved by the showrunners and the network in 2012 blows my mind.
What about the Slapsgiving episode in the last season? Talk about something that should never have been approved. Yikes.
I wouldn't go as far as greatest, it's one of the few multi-cam sitcoms I'll tune to if it's on, and I never watched it when it first aired
I haven't really seen King of Queens but I know it has Jerry Stiller and Jerry Stiller on Seinfeld is one of the best recurring characters in any show ever. fight me.
I used to watch King of queen reruns sometimes but I don't remember caring for it. After nearly finishing up Cheers I have to say that I think Frasier is the better show but it's cool how Frasier is a spin off yet the shows are completely different in tone and humor. Like they didn't just cash in on what made Cheers successful but let Frasier stand alone as it's own thing.
King of queens is just so plain to me. Like it’s fine, it’s a totally standard sitcom that I would leave on in the background while doing other things. But I don’t think there was anything especially unique about it.
After making the colour scheme of my bedroom purple and yellow to match my few pieces of Willy Wonka merch, I went to see a screening of the film in the theatre and I didn't think i wast very good. Like, I'd rather watch the remake
oompa loompa doopity doo you've got some fucking 'splaining to do I know this is unpopular opinions, this is just the rare one that got to me
Lisa Vanderpump of Real Housewives fame opens up a restaurant and the model servers cheat on each other and behave like no human should and it is wonderful
