We’d go down there for parties and he and his friends all wore long white tees/beaters and bleached their hair like Eminem. I remember they had a heavy bag and weights. He rolled the first joint I smoked, at another family party. Then he got my other cousin pregnant (not blood but a weird situation) and they were together for a bit and he left her.
I like other Thursday stuff but shout out to that record in particular and I think it's cool that you still listen to it.

Production geeks loooove both of those bands. The teacher next door to me is a huge Deftones guy and also a musician. I guess I just don’t get that part of it either

they don't super seem up your alley haha. they aren't up mine either fwiw, wasn't really taking some high ground in saying that. their stuff is so produced and clean to the point it feels lifeless. they have a few songs but they're audiophile nerd stuff to me more than they are entertaining music.
