I never really got to experience dial-up. I’ve had an iPhone since 7th grade

 

I don’t even think iPhones were around when I was in high school

 

I think we got DSL internet in like… 2004. Idk if that was early or late, but it certainly felt very late at the time. Still remember the site I typed in to try it out after turning on the computer was allisterrock.com. Why that site, why that band, nobody will ever know

I remember getting AOL for the first time and being amazed that I could go to a website and read about every superhero that ever existed.

I guess my priorities haven't changed all that much as an adult.

 

I am at a Sheetz. The trash food they have here is incredible. Blows Wawa’s lame ass out of the water. Will I feel like shit after eating it? 100%, but I bought some Pepto Bismol

 

The day we got dsl and I could finally play Socom 2 multiplayer on PS2 was probably a life changing day looking back on it.

Never had Wawa but I love getting way too much shitty food at sheetz. Those fried cheese curds are too good.

 

I take back my compliment, the milkshake I got was too icy

 

I hate when there is ice in ice cream. I am talking about those ones with the water to clean with each use in something communal like a restaurant but people are going to fast that water gets in there and becomes ice.

 

Cheers, this made me go out and buy some Pebble Pro speakers that I just finished setting up haha. No subwoofer (saved me some money) but sound way better than the cheap Logitech speakers I was using before. I don't need the most *amazing* sound quality out of my computer speakers, but these sound pretty nice for $60

 

Yay!!! Yeah I really tried to walk that line of sounding great but not breaking the bank, and these hit that for me.

Ps sound quality is better using the USB option instead of aux, if you have that option

 

Yeah I ended up plugging the USB-A into my laptop dock, and bought a 30W USB-C PD brick for power because apparently that also boosts the quality a bit? I wonder if it would sound any better if it was direct usb-c to usb-c to my laptop, but eh, probably not

 

Burger King nuggets are second only to Chick-fil-A.

I have a stomach issue and McDonald’s nuggets (chicken and vegetarian) are something I can eat wherever I am without having to worry so they rule
