i just have a desktop and 2 monitors. 3 seems nice eventually but then you have to get creative about the placement
Can’t believe we used to have computer rooms at home and now my laptop just chills on the couch like it’s no big deal
The world was a better place when the internet could only be accessed in your computer room and not 24/7
In the dial-up days we weren't allowed online until after 8 p.m. in case our grandmother would try to call. The main reason I wanted Internet as a kid was to look up cheats for Goldeneye.
I was jealous of everyone that got DSL internet because I just wanted to login to AIM and put up an away message but we had dial up so I could only be on for like 30 minutes at a time.
If you didn’t put up an away message and took more than 3 minutes to reply to someone’s IM you got called a bitch. 7th grade was tough
We had dial-up a lot longer than other people. It made it really hard to use Napster and Kazaa. There was a kid on the bus that would make a burned CD for you for ten dollars, though.
Same. We lived in the woods and dial up was our only option for a few years after my friends had high speed.
