    Jeans are for outdoor work or going to a hoedown. Chinos are for everyday wear. Slacks are for an office or something fancy. Basketball shorts are for running errands and eating at restaurants without tablecloths.

    I’ll wear basketball shorts to grocery shop or get take out or something. If I’m going to a sit down place even if it’s just a small local restaurant I’m putting actual pants/shorts on.

    I haven’t dog eared a page in forever because it’s more fun having a random card or whatever as a bookmark. (Love using a 90s Vampirella cosplay card in my Clarice Lispector book, and a Marvel Lilith card in one of my Bibles, etc.) But, I’m still a big advocate of people doing so. Goes in the same category as buying a used book or comic that someone wrote their name in/on.

    Idk, I just think it’s cool for a thing to feel all lived in and shit, lol.
