I have always disliked Turnstile’s merch so I bought a bootleg from Redbubble maybe like 6 years ago. It’s not a super cool move but I love the shirt, it’s real comfy and I’ve worn it way more than I would’ve worn anything else they’ve put out since. I buy their records and go to their shows so I can only feel so bad about it haha
my most recent bootlegs are the cure, nirvana (always buying nirvana shirts), radiohead and taking heads, I think those artists are doing okay.
Well, if you’re wearing Hawaiian shirts with tigers every day, then yeah, plain shirts underneath work nicely for that. Though I’d still wear a graphic tee under one of those ‘cause idk why not.
i got a comfort colors shirt a few weeks back, i’m converted. it’s a large though and i’m debating sizing down. arms are perfect, but a little long.
I did just get a bootleg shirt from TeePublic recently related to a musical act. Which was of course shameful on my part. Can’t believe I failed to give Dove Cameron my money directly.
I love my collection of bootleg Nirvana/Elliott Smith/Springsteen etc comfort colors shirts but my two personal favorites I have are these William Blake/John Milton and Robert Smithson "bootlegs"
I wore my Tusk long sleeved one tonight. It rocks. Band/pop culture Ts start conversations that plain J Crew ones don’t. If I’m out to dinner, I don’t need/want to strike up a convo. At a show/store/brewery/festival/concert etc., why not wear your interests on your sleeve
I went through an anti-band t phase in my 20s when I wanted to seem richer than I was. I don’t give a shit now, and the band ts are probably just as expensive as the shit I was wearing before.
