I use it for basketball highlights, video essays, and how to’s. Every now and then I’ll get stuck down a rabbit hole of something dumb like funny dogs, but that’s only if I open up the shorts tab. That’s where time goes to die.
Youtube has an incredible amount of great things on it, I use it daily. Live performances, full movies and shows that can’t be found anywhere else
Agreed, for example there are historical performances on this channel that as far as I can tell do not exist anywhere else online except ripped from this channel. So good https://www.youtube.com/@ebjazz93/videos
I use YouTube about once a month to watch a new music video, otherwise I don't use it. That's also solely on my computer, I don't use the phone app, I don't like watching video on my phone
There are a few people from the initial batch of YouTubers that I’ve found interesting to watch evolve over the years but now that people know there’s money to be made, it’s gotten pretty insufferable
Sorry I missed the YouTube conversation I had a big day and then I went to the chicken shop and then to bed but now it’s 4am and I’m ready to talk about my love of YouTube Premium. It’s the best I watch it everyday. It’s always showing me well researched videos on my favourite topics of interest and tutorials for my hobbies made by professionals in the craft. Last week I watched a video on ironing polo collars and now I’m looking more handsome at work and everyone noticed. It helps me sleep at night and it’s there for me in the morning when I wake up. I eagerly await the day when Jesus Christ returns and posts his sermons on YouTube Premium.
YouTube Premium is probably the best value I'm getting out of any streaming app rn. $10 through Verizon... And comes with YT Music so no need to pay for something like Spotify. I watch YouTube every day so I'll take it
All my friends like me more because I recommended them YouTube premium and it improved their quality of life. YouTube Music has all the songs and has a seamless transition from Spotify because they made the brilliant decision the perfectly replicate Spotify’s UI
The only thing I have received from YouTube Premium to make these posts is a life time supply of fantastic ad free videos broadcast straight to my personal devices
Yeahh it's also a pain in the ass to deal with music you've uploaded. Can't use my voice to play them in my car or cast them to my TV
Did you watch Fool Time? Speaking of attention to craft, the storm at sea sequence is not only one of his most visually inventive but probably his best work as a narrator too.
To be clear, I was only critiquing content made deliberately FOR YouTube. It’s an insanely great resource for live performances, interviews, albums that aren’t streaming, etc. I was just watching Leonard Bernstein conduct Beethoven’s 9th at the fall of the Berlin Wall one night this week and then a Billy Joel bootleg from Japan another night. It blows my Dad’s mind, being a big music fan from the Before Times.
You're in the downloads section of your library, you need to select the albums tab highlighted below and then you will be able to sort them alphabetically You can also go to the albums section of the library and sort all added albums or select the download tab and sort them from there
okay, we're getting a little closer, but it sorts them alphabetically by the album name. can you not sort them alphabetically by artist? edit: it looks like I can sorts artists A-Z in the library, but that doesn't show my downloads
