Same thing happened to me with tap water. Got really thirst in Uruguay, nothing bad happened and now I drink water where ever I go.
Bathrooms inside trains and supermarkets are consistently the grossest. I'm less often repulsed by ones in bars and music venues bc I've accepted dinginess as part of their charm I don't see movies often, but theatre bathrooms tend to be pretty well-maintained in my experience. It's also going to be a shame when I leave my job a some point bc I never have to worry about the office bathrooms being dirty. Truly a great place to shit
My new studio spot has a men’s and women’s bathroom, each with two stalls. For some reason the men’s bathroom door is always left open. I’m all for gender neutral bathrooms but the men have decided that instead of closing the men’s bathroom door, they’re going to use the women’s bathroom to shit. I already had to complain about dudes walking down the hallway unzipping their pants before they get to the bathroom (which the building manager was appalled by and fully on my side) but these dudes are absolute trash bags
I worked in a supermarket and we had two bathrooms out back that we didn't really advertise but customers learned about it and still used it all the time because we weren't gonna say no if someone asked. And holy moly. The women's rest room was always absolutely disgusting. Used tampons and pads all over the floors, top or back of the toilets ... Human feces in random places. One day came in and the whole bathroom was flooded like half a foot high. Thank God I didn't have to clean that one up haha.
My Office also has a great bathroom. Thanks to covid it has hands free doors and taps and its super fun Offices now ranked
Back when we were in the office there was a guy that would sit in a stall for like 15-20 minutes at a time and would bring snacks from the vending machines. I don’t think he’d actually poop he’d just hang out and play on his phone and eat snacks.
My first job I started hiding in the bathroom for like an hour each day because I fucking hated it and was extremely immature and irresponsible, but also the job sucked. Bagging at Publix.
Working full time has made me grow past my fear of pooping in public rest rooms. Refuse to in a port a potty, though.
There’s a bathroom on one of the floors in my building that I am pretty certain people don’t know exists. Worked on and off at this site since 2016 and have never seen anyone else go in or out, and it’s always completely clean/odor free. I treat it like mine and am prepared to go to war if I ever catch someone else using it
