My brother has just broken up with his long term girlfriend. Last night he came over for dinner. Mum has been instructed not to ask any bad questions. They had recently taken a road trip down to Melbourne over the Christmas period, Dad starts off with a good question about the car and Mum follows up:

I don't really want to talk about it
OK SORRY!!

What about after, where did you stay?
With girlfriends family

But did you have a good time??

Dad attempts to shut down question time but Mum has not finished.
I just need to know he's ok before I go to Melbourne!

The next day I drive Mum to the airport and we discuss her bad questions.

I am tired of movies that refuse to name the characters and call them stuff like Father or Son or something like that. It isn't clever anymore.

 

What about naming them protagonist like tenet

 

I feel like I developed such a reputation as a Nolan detractor, but I liked Tenet and I thought Oppenheimer was really good.

But yes, just name him Phil or something.
